Johor, Malaysia – March 22, 2025 – EPG Advanced Solutions has officially ground its second manufacturing facility in Malaysia, marking a milestone in its commitment to delivering cutting-edge modular data center solutions. Located in Senai Airport City, Johor, the new facility will enhance EPG’s manufacturing capacity, supporting the growing demand for AI-driven and high-performance computing infrastructure.

 

The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by distinguished government officials and industry leaders, reaffirming Malaysia’s position as a hub for high-tech investment. The event was officiated by YB Tuan Lee Ting Han, Chairman of Investment, Trade and Consumer Affairs Committee of Johor; YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister of Communications, Malaysia; and Dato’ Ir. Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Advisor for Economic and Investment, State of Johor.

During his speech, YB Tuan Lee Ting Han emphasized Johor’s growing role as a strategic hub for advanced technology investments. He highlighted that EPG’s expansion aligns with the state’s commitment to fostering high-tech industries, driving economic growth, and creating new opportunities for skilled employment.

Mr. Nicholas Hui Fung, Overseas General Manager of EPG Malaysia, shared how this facility will strengthen Malaysia’s position in the global data center supply chain. “By leveraging local talent and integrating sustainable manufacturing practices, we aim to produce ‘Made in Malaysia’ data center solutions for markets across Southeast Asia, the U.S., and Europe,” he said.

Beyond its business expansion, EPG also reaffirmed its dedication to social responsibility by extending support to communities affected by the recent floods in Johor. To aid in recovery efforts, EPG contributed a financial donation to the Johor state government, helping to lessen the burden on those impacted by the disaster.
