Yipuji 2024 EHS Drill: Using fire drills as a fulcrum to strengthen EHS management and build a safety line of defense
09-26

At Yipuji, we are well aware that "safety in production is no small matter, and safety responsibility is greater than heaven". In order to further enhance the awareness and emergency response capabilities of all employees in terms of environment, health and safety (EHS), especially to highlight the importance of fire drills in EHS management, the company recently successfully held the 2024 annual fire drill.

During the drill, the EHS commander gave a detailed explanation of fire safety knowledge and emergency measures. Afterwards, he simulated the sudden fire scenes that may be encountered in daily work and conducted a field fire emergency drill.

Faced with the simulated fire emergency, the on-site staff took action quickly and orderly. From the initial self-rescue with fire extinguishers and emergency alarms to the safe evacuation of all staff, every link was strictly implemented in accordance with the fire emergency plan. After receiving the alarm signal, the monitoring center immediately activated the emergency broadcast system to guide all employees to evacuate to a safe area quickly and orderly.

Highlights of the exercise:

1. Actual combat simulation, close to reality: Fire drills simulate real fire scenes to a high degree, allowing employees to be tested in an environment close to actual combat, significantly improving their emergency response speed and accuracy, and further verifying the importance of fire emergency response in EHS management.

2. Tight organization and efficient collaboration: As the general coordinating department, the EHS Department worked closely with the Administration Department, General Manager's Office, Security Department and other departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the fire drill. Each department performed its duties in the drill, fully demonstrating the team's efficient collaborative combat capabilities under EHS management.

3. Focus on effectiveness and strengthen summary: After the drill, the EHS commander conducted a comprehensive summary and analysis of the fire drill process, pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies, and proposed specific improvement measures. This pragmatic attitude not only provides valuable experience and guidance for future fire safety emergency work, but also further strengthens the concept of continuous improvement of EHS management.

Through the in-depth implementation of this fire drill, all employees of Yipuji not only deepened their knowledge and understanding of EHS, but also mastered effective fire emergency response skills. More importantly, through teamwork and the process of jointly coping with challenges, the trust and cohesion among employees were further enhanced, which also highlighted the core value of EHS management in improving the overall emergency response capabilities of the enterprise.

As the cornerstone of corporate development, EHS is not only a guarantee for employees' happy lives, but also a key support for the sustainable development of enterprises. Yipuji always puts the environment, health and safety of employees first, and pays special attention to fire safety, an important part of EHS management. We will take this EHS drill as an opportunity to further strengthen fire safety management and the construction of the EHS management system, and continuously improve employees' safety awareness and emergency response capabilities. I firmly believe that with the joint efforts of all employees, Yipuji will be able to build a solid EHS defense line to escort the steady development of the company and the happy life of employees!
